Cry of the Phoenix
“His descent into madness was the only thing that kept him sane.” (true story)
He was a hit man addicted to the hunt and the kill, but not always; not before he
volunteered for the Marines -- his patriotic duty -- during the Vietnam war. He was
recruited surreptitiously for the infamous Phoenix Program, where he was trained to
assassinate the enemy with “extreme prejudice”, one on one, face to face --”up close and
personal”. He lived alone, and, more often than not, worked alone killing selected
individuals-- whether they were Vietnamese or Americans. This is the true story of Dale
Messmer, now living and working in LA, and his incredible journey into his own hell,
with the final reclamation of his soul after three tours as an assassin. It is a shocking,
provocative, and at the same time poignant and absolutely heart-wrenching story.

Beloved Traitor
"Beloved Traitor" is the story of a girl, Kirsten Frolich, a German émigré living in Maryland in 1941, who returns to her hometown of Felsenmarn, a village in north Germany near Lubeck, after her parents, former German communists, are murdered in the USA. Once in the Reich, she regains her former life and her family, falling in love, becoming
engaged. Meantime, however, she finds herself in a position to report to the Allies on Germany`s program to develop an atomic bomb, and is torn between her desire to do
what's right, even though in doing so, she puts her family, friends, and her new husband in extreme jeopardy -- and her obligation, as a German, to the ideal of "Duty, Honor, Country," and to the fact that at least from the German point of view, a quick victory over the USSR
(eradicating Communism from world history), with relatively light Wehrmacht casualties,
wouldn't be such a bad thing. In the final moment of decision, Kirsten, after watching the Gestapo contaminate her home and the people she loves with their evil, gradually comes to the conclusion that the destruction of Germany`s
potential nuclear capability is preferable to Nazi world domination, even if it means she becomes a traitor in the process, losing home and family and all that is beloved to her.
