A rookie PR agent is hired by an amusement park conglomerate to help with potentially bad press regarding multiple crimes that have taken place recently. Through a string of coincidences, the agent discovers that the company's president is a clueless figurehead and the park is actually run by the mob. Hijinks ensue as the company sends out hitmen (disguised as park characters) to stop the agent before he can announce his findings at a press conference. With the help of his love interest and a wisecracking janitor, the agent manages to elude the hitmen and bring down the company's management without hurting the park's image as a family destination.
