   Examples of our staff

Michael Stipanich 

Michael Stipanich most recently was a literary agent with Writers & Artists Agency where he specialized in finding new writers and directors. Among the scripts by new writers he represented were KEEPING THE FAITH, by Stuart Blumberg, and WRESTLING ERNEST HEMINGWAY, by Steve Conrad. He also represented Alison Lurie's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, FOREIGN AFFAIRS, which he had first read as a manuscript while a reader for Keith Barish. Among his other clients were Latino filmmaker LUIS VALDEZ (LA BAMBA) and Russian filmmaker PAVEL CHUKHRAI (Oscar nominated for Best Foreign Film for THE THIEF in 1998). Noted casting guru and author Michael Shurtleff (AUDITION) asked Mr. Stipanich to take over his classes when he retired from teaching. He still maintains a strong relationship with Writers & Artists and high level studio executives and producers.

Evan Ward-Henninger 

Evan Ward-Henninger is a freelance reader and screenwriter with a Bachelor's Degree in Screenwriting/Communications Studies from Loyola Marymount University. In the past, he has done internal coverage for solicited screenplays at David Ladd Films where he became familiarized with the development process. Evan currently reads for Vintage Entertainment and The Academy Writers Clinic.  As a screenwriter, he has completed three features in genres ranging from dark comedy to thriller, and is also developing a television pilot. Evan was co-writer and script supervisor on the independent film On Sundays.  He is in pre-production on an untitled short, which he will direct.

Christopher T. Hardin 

Christopher T. Hardin earned his B.A. from Columbia University in Film and History.  While in school, he also studied screenwriting and literature.  He recently obtained his master's degree in communication with an entertainment focus from USC.  In addition to reading for Academy Writers Clinic, he currently reads for Billy Crystal's Face Productions and RKO Pictures, and formerly wrote for Signpost Films. 

W. Brad Klaustermeyer

Brad Klaustermeyer earned his B.A. from UCLA in English Literature. While in school, he also studied screenwriting and drama. He graduated with Latin Honors and a minor in Philosophy. In addition to reading for Academy Writers Clinic, he has served as a judge for American Accolades Screenwriting competition and has read for Vintage Entertainment. Currently, Brad works professionally as a freelance reader and screenwriter.

Alun Polga

Alun Polga is a freelance reader and a represented Hollywood screenwriter.  In addition to reading for the Academy Writers Clinic, Alun currently reads for such companies as Castle Rock Entertainment, Vintage Entertainment, and Billy Crystal's Face Productions.  He achieved his master's degree in film.
