Studio-style Coverage / $90
Studios and production companies hire readers to generate
internal memos called "coverage reports." Many production
executives, studio executives and agents rely on these reports when
responding to writers about the material they have submitted. These
reports include the following:
|
 | A one to two sentence log line describing the screenplay. |
|
 | A one-page, single-spaced synopsis of the screenplay. |
|
 | Box scores assessing the viability of the material
(from poor to excellent) across several variables, including budget,
characterizations, storyline/plot, dialogue, and premise. |
|
 | A determination of the material on a
"pass," "consider," or "recommend"
basis. If your material receives a "recommend,"
we will attempt to help you find Hollywood representation by
submitting your screenplay free of charge to five literary agencies
where we have well-established contacts. |
|
 | A one-page, double-spaced critique of the screenplay. |
